LAHORE (Dunya News) – Leader of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) Ahsan Iqbal said the incumbent government has no experience and they have ruined the economy. He demanded transparent mid-term elections next year.
Talking exlusively in Dunya News program Ikhtalafi Note, he said deputy chairman NAB has been appointed as head of inquiry commission, adding that if government is serious about the commission it must appoint a retired judge as its head.
He said different options would be discussed in APC, adding that if all opposition parties resigned from assemblies government would have to conduct general elections.
He said more time to this government will harm the country further. He said Pakistan’s difficulties would increase if this government remained in power.
Responding to a question, Ahsan said accountability card is being used since Ayub’s era, adding that they have no fear of accountability as they had faced Musharaf’s even more strict accountability.
He said opposition want to steer the country out of the crises. He said the schedule of the rallies lead by Maryam Nawaz would be decided in party meeting.
