ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Former president and co-chairman of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Asif Ali Zardari said they would continue their struggle to eradicate poverty, unemployment and illiteracy from the country.
In his message on 66th birthday of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto, he said they would follow the philosophy of Benazir Bhutto to become a civilized and progressive society.
He said sticking to PPP’s ideology, they would save parliament’s sanctity. He said they would oppose the forces promoting extremism and weakening democracy.
Former president said PPP acted on its manifesto by giving rights to the people of Gilgit Baltistan and KPK. He said it is the need of the hour that democratic forces should steer the country out of the crisis.
He said they are worried about inflation, unemployment and future of next generations. He said the workers should empower Bilawal Bhutto by supporting him, adding that a young leadership in the face of Bilawal has come who is carrying the legacy of Bhutto family.
