(Web Desk) – Pakistan faces the nuisance of Quacks; imposters posing as medical practitioners, they are not only endangering the lives of the naive masses but also have rung the bells for spread of HIV AIDS in Faisalabad.

There is an abundance of mobile clinics of these quacks around the famous Clock Tower or Ghanta Ghar chowk in Faisalabad.

According to a report by Allied Hospital AIDS’s control programme 2680 cases of AIDS have been reported, of which 2300 are male and 300 are females.

Health department is quite concerned at the easy mobility of Quacks who are the major cause behind the spread of HIV as they use unsterilized and rusted instruments on all the patients coming for a check-up with the Quack dentists etc.

Citizens of Faisalbad are gravely concerned about such imposters who are playing with the lives of the poor masses who can’t afford to go to decent clinics because of the high amount of fee charged by the real practitioners.

Provincial Minister of Punjab for primary and secondary healthcare Dr Yasmin Rashid has assured to take stern action against the quacks, also the health care commission is being reorganized.

‘New board for the health care commission has been formed. Interviews are being conducted for the new CEO who will soon join us and hopefully will implement the rules and regulations against quacks,’ she added.

Citizens are skeptic and believe some gross misconduct on part of the health department without the patronage of whom Quacks cannot work freely.
