ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Accountability Shehzad Akbar said inquiry commission is legal and constitutional and such things have never happened in the 70 year history.

Addressing a presser in federal capital, he said Hussain Asghar has been appointed head of inquiry commission by the cabinet and notification in this regard would be issued soon. He said this would be an independent commission working under Act of Parliament.

Shehzad said the commission would complete its findings in six months and would submit an interim report every month to government. He said commission would investigate how children of rulers benefited from national kitty and how the loans were increased to this extent in 10 years.

He said chairman of commission can choose members and can get help from firms. He said officers from different agencies and departments would be part of inquiry commission.
