Summary A special court in Rawalpindi rejected the plea to delink Ajmal Qasab from Mumbai attack case.
Advocate Kawaja Sultan, counsel for Mumbai attack accused Zaki ur Rehman, filed a petition in the anti-terrorist court and pleaded that Ajmal Qasab should be delinked from the case as he had been convicted by the Indian court.The FIA maintained that Khawaja Sultan was not appointed counsel on behalf of the accused and there were no signatures of Qasab on the application.The decision on this application was reserved by the court in last hearing. The court adjourned the hearing till May 7.
