Summary Gilani apprises Altaf of the details of PPP-PML-Q alliance
Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani called MQM chief Altaf Hussain and invited his party to join the cabinet. Altaf said he valued the offer and would consider it. Prime minister also apprised him of the deal with the PML-Q. He condoled the death of Liaqat Quraishi and other victims of MQM and assured the killer would be brought to justice.
