SIALKOT/DG KHAN (Dunya News) - The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) on Sunday conducted separate operations on intelligence report in Sialkot and Dera Ghazi Khan and arrested three terrorists, Dunya News reported.
According the details, the CTD conducted an operation in Hajipura area of Sialkot and arrested two terrorists. A CTD spokesperson informed that the arrested terrorists were identified as Abu Bakr and Yousuf.
Separately, the CTD conducted an operation in Dera Ghazi Khan and arrested one terrorist. According to CTD spokesperson, the arrested terrorist was identified as Sadaqat.
The CTD spokesperson informed that the arrested terrorists belonged to a banned organization and were planning to carry out terrorist attacks on Youm-e-Ali processions.
The CTD personnel also recovered hand grenades and explosive material from their possession. The arrested terrorists were shifted to some undisclosed location for further investigation.
