Summary Balloting for extra hajj quota will not be held on Monday.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Second balloting under government Hajj scheme has been postponed.

In a statement today, spokesperson Ministry of Religious Affairs said new date for balloting will be announced after approval of federal cabinet.

He said balloting for extra hajj quota will not be held on Monday.( tomorrow).

Earlier, Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony said it would conduct another balloting to distribute additional 9,600 quota among the unsuccessful applicants of Government Hajj Scheme on Monday (May 20).

The ministry said the Saudi government has given additional quota of 16,000 to Pakistan. Out of which 60 percent will be allocated to the remaining applicants of Government Hajj Scheme, who were declared unsuccessful in recent balloting.
