Opposition leader in the National Assembly Ch. Nisar Ali has said by adjourning the session for one week each MP would get Rs 4,000 a day and total amount would be in millions.Nisar said price hike and load shedding have made lives of common people miserable. He urged to continue the session so that people’s problems could be discussed. Minister for Religious Affairs Khursheed Shah agreed to the proposal. National Assembly, meanwhile, passed a resolution thanking the president for his address to the joint session. During the question hour, Minister for Railways Ghulam Ahmed Bilour expressed his inability to retrieve railways land from grabbers citing an incident when a lawmaker objected to his effort to take over the land.
