No case was heard in courts of Karachi as lawyers boycotted the courts in protest against the killing of their colleague Ali Muhammad Dahri.The Sindh Bar Council (SBC) decided to give the strike call in a general body meeting. The SBC also demanded that the chief justice of Pakistan take suo motu notice of target killings in Karachi and order the government to take instant measures against the killers.Former SBC vice-chairman, Ali Muhammad Dahri, was shot dead on Thursday by four unidentified motorcyclists when he was on his way to his office.
