Summary Samsam Bukhari said government is taking measures to solve the problems faced by journalism community.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Punjab Information Minister Samsam Bukhari said on Friday that it is against the policy of present government to put a restraint on the journalistic values.
Addressing in the Lahore Press Club, Samsam Bukhari asserted that journalists should publish any news they like but the choice of words should be better. “I will request to Prime Minister Imran Khan to resolve the problems of journalists.”
Provincial Information Minister expressed that to criticize them is right but the good deeds of journalists should also be praised. He said that problems will be resolved over time.
Samsam Bukhari said government is taking measures to solve the problems faced by journalism community.
“The government will not make any legislation that can affect journalists adversely,” he assured.
He further said that government was removing the blockades of payment that is due to the media groups. “Government believes in building and maintaining a healthy relationship with media. Media is a bridge between government and public as it should be given due importance”, he expressed
