According to a Dunya News report, a bomb exploded in the navy bus carrying at least 25 civilian and navy officials.It was a suicide attack, said an eye-witness, adding that he saw a motorcyclist ramming into the bus near the Karsaz Bridge. According to a Pakistan Navy spokesman, four navy personnel and a passer-by were killed while six others were injured in the blast. He said that 11 navy personnel were on the bus at the time of blast.The officials of the police and other law-enforcement agencies reached the spot and cordoned off the area to investigate the incident. Among the killed are sub-lieutenant, a lady doctor and a passer-by.Another report suggested that a remote-control device was used to explode the bomb which was planted on the roadside. It was a local-made bomb, another source suggested.The blast caused traffic jam on Shahrah-e-Faisal while a motorcycle and a car were also damaged in the blast.It may be mentioned that this is the third navy bus subjected to terrorism this week. Earlier, two buses were attacked in which four people were killed and 50 others were injured.Talking to the media, Federal Information Minister Firdous Ashiq Awancondemned the terrorism attack on the navy bus.The Dunya TV has received the footage of Navy bus blast. This footage was taken from City Government CCTV camera. The footage clearly shows the traffic on Shahrah-e-Faisal and Carsaz flyover was blocked after the blast. At this point the officials of city government turned the camera towards the scene of blast, where the victims were lying. The footage also shows how common people came to hel the victims
