RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) - Heavy rain accompanied by gusty winds lashed the twin cities where trees and electricity polls were uprooted.
According to Dunya News,a man was killed when a tree fell on him near Rawal Lake. The dead body has been shifted to Poly Clinic hospital.
On the other hand a tree uprooted due to gusty wind and fell on a car, however no injuries were reported. In another incident, a woman got injuries when a tree fell on him in G6 sector.
Several vehicles suffered a loss due to heavy rain and 300 feeders of IESCO were tripped cutting the electricity supply to the city. The distribution company said they have started restoring the electric supply.

Moreover, The Met department said the weather will remain unpleasant in next 24 to 48 hours and more rains are expected.
