LAHORE (Dunya News) - The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) instructed deputy commissioners to be on high alert for the possibility of heavy rainfall and sandstorm in Balochistan from Tuesday till Thursday.
According to Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), with the help of a new system, they have been able to forecast the cloudburst alongside dust and sandstorm in various divisions of Balochistan.
PMD said that the new wave of cloudburst will start in the Northern, Western and central districts of the province from Tuesday till Thursday.
Adverse weather will affect the different districts of Quetta, Kalat, Zhob, Sibbi and Nasirabad divisions whereas few places will also experience dust storms.
The PMD advised the farmers to take precautionary measures during the forecast period.
Weather remained dry in most parts of the country, while hot in plain areas of Punjab and Sindh. However, rain occurred at isolated places in Malakand division.
