Summary Justice Jawad S Khwaja has said there is no conflict between the Supreme Court and the government.
Justice Jawad S Khwaja added that all the SC wants is the rule of law, he added.SC’s 4-member bench headed by Justice MA Shahid Sidiqui was hearing contempt of the court plea against the federal government for not issuing notification of 6 judges appointed by the Supreme Court. The court disposed of the plea after Attorney General Maulvi Anwarul Haq submitted the presidential notification for the extension of six judges.
