PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Heavy rains in parts of KPK including Peshawar killed 3 and 42 others were injured.
The ceiling of BRT stations flew in air due to fast winds. The speed of wind was so immense that it not only damaged houses but also trees .
Police said 3 were found dead while many other injured in these heavy rains. The injured have been shifted to different hospitals across the province.
According to police the dead include one woman and a child. The administration of Khyber teaching hospital said they received 17 injured persons out of which one is in critical condition. Hospital said the dead man is Jahanzaib.
The heavy rains also damaged the electricity distribution system. The spokesperson of PESCO said 191 feeders were affected by rains and electricity has been restored at 21 feeders. The work for restoration is underway on remaining 171 feeders, he added.
