Summary A minor by was electrocuted when metallic string of his kite was entangled with an electric wire.

LAHORE (Dunya News) - A 12-year-old boy was electrocuted when metallic string of the kite he was flying got entangled with an electric wire in Shahdara near Lahore on Friday, Dunya News reported.

According to police, 12-year-old Amir and his friend Ghulam Abbas were flying kite with metallic string in Bota park area of Shahdara when the kite entangled with 11,000 KV electric wire. Both the boys received severe electric shock.

They were shifted to a nearby hospital where Amir died during treatment. Police sources said that Ghulam Abbas condition was also critical. The body of Amir was handed over to his heirs for burial.
