Summary 15 passengers have been killed as a bus was allegedly torched in Sibbi on Tuesday.
As per details, a passenger bus was en route to Quetta from Jacobabad when some unidentified people allegedly torched it near a hotel on the National Highway. As a result, 15 passengers, including 5 minors and 2 women, were killed. Several passengers jumped from the bus and saved their lives. The injured and dead were taken to the Sibbi hospital.The Deputy Commissioner of Sibbi confirmed that the bus was allegedly torched while it was standing in front of a hotel. At least 40 passengers were riding the bus when it was torched and most of them were women and children.The District Police Officer and Deputy Commissioner Sibbi ordered investigation into the incident. Police cordoned off the area and started a searched operation; however, the bus driver and conductor escaped.
