Summary The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Assembly unanimously passed a resolution against power loadshedding.

After presenting the resolution, MPA Abdul Akbar Khan said that 18-hour loadshedding was hitting the rural areas while 14-hour power outage in the urban areas was affecting the industrial as well agri sectors. The people were being badly affected by unscheduled loadshedding, Akbar said.Supporting Akbar’s views, Senior Provincial Minister Bashir Ahmad Bilour said that Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa was generating low-priced electricity, but instead of Pakhtunkhwa, the other provinces were enjoying this facility.
