A local court in Lahore dismissed the bail plea of Moonis Elahi, an accused in NICL case. A banking court’s judge Malik Abdur Rasheed heard the bail plea of Moonis.His lawyers maintained that Moonis had nothing to do with NICL case and the case was politically motivated. The lawyers further said that the FIA had not presented any proofs against Moonis and the bail plea should be approved.The FIA officials told the court that Moonis took financial benefit in NICL fraud and his fake accounts were opened by his manager and these proofs were presented in the court. The court dismissed the bail plea of Moonis after completion of all arguments.
