Summary Moonis Elahi was brought to Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC) for medical checkup on Monday.
PML-Q leader, allegedly involved in the National Insurance Corporation Limited (NICL) corruption case, has been in the custody of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) after the cancelation of his bail. The doctors at the PIC conducted his medical checkup and took some tests. Later, the doctors declared that everything was fine with his tests.A bail petition of Moonis Elahi has filed in the banking court, stating that he had no link with NICL corruption and he has been suffering from cardiac diseases, therefore his bail should be granted on medical grounds.The FIA had submitted a challan in a banking court, holding that Moonis was involved in the NICL scandal.
