ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Supreme Court (SC) on Wednesday suspended two officials in connection with the release of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif late Tuesday night.
According to Dunya News sources, both officials were suspended by the apex court on grounds of immediate provision of the verdict citing release of the PMLN supremo.
One official Ali was from Islamabad registry and the other named Shehzad belonged to Lahore registry.
It is pertinent to mention here, that the verdict was delivered after court hours ending in the afternoon at 15:30.
The verdict was sent to Lahore at 21:00, leading to the release of Nawaz Sharif, late in the night at 00:45.
