Summary Babar Awan conveyed President Zardaris message to Ch. Shujaat and Ch. Pervaiz Elahi in Lahore.
The former law minister and the Pakistan People’s Party senator visited the Lahore residence of Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain. The PML-Q Punjab president Chaudhry Pervez Elahi was also present in the meeting. The senator delivered President Zardari’s message regarding PML-Q’s inclusion in the government, besides discussing the political situation in the country.Chaudhry Shujaat said that joining the government is a decision that would be taken with the consultation of party members. Babar Awan also congratulated Chaudhry Shujaat upon the auspicious occasion of the marriage of his son Chaudhry Salik Hussain and delivered gifts on behalf of the president.PML-Q Senator Jamal Leghari said that the party should join the coalition government if it agreed to make a Saraiki province.Babar Awan, talking to media after the meeting, said that alliance among political parties should be encouraged and Takhat-e-Lahore would have to change its mind-set because everything cleared after Javed Hashmi’s statement.
