Summary According to sources, Pakistan will earn $120 million through export of surplus wheat.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Pakistan Agricultural Storage and Services Corporation (PASSCO) has decided to export 0.5 million tons of surplus wheat and wheat products, Dunya News reported on Thursday.
Sources said that PASSCO had invited open bidding in January this year to export surplus wheat and through bidding process, fairly competitive rates (highest @ Rs 32,759 per tons) have been received.
Out of this quantity, 0.4 million tons may be exported through sea route and 0.1 million tons through land route. Sources further informed that Pakistan will earn $120 million through export of wheat.
