Summary Opposition suggested to call Attorney General for discussion on the matter.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The opposition parties on Wednesday have demanded the concerned authorities to remove name of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto from Exit Control List (ECL).
During the session of National Assembly (NA), lawmakers of PPP and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) suggested to call Attorney General for discussion on the matter.
Responding to the opposition, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that the decision on removing the names of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah from the ECL will be made after receiving detailed written judgment of the Supreme Court.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi said as agriculture has become a provincial subject after the 18th Amendment, there is a need to coordinate between federal and provincial governments to mitigate the sufferings of potato farmers.
He invited all political parties across the spectrum to show unity to resolve such national issues.
