Isolated rains in upper areas during next 48 hours

A western disturbance affecting upper and central parts of the country is likely to persist for next two to three days and cause rain with dust storms with gusty wind in most parts of the country.An isolated rain turned the weather pleasant in Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Faisalabad, Jhelum, Gujranwala and Lahore.According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department, the rain spell will continue in upper parts during next 48 hours , while, rain with dust-thunderstorm associated with gusty winds is expected at isolated places in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir during next two days with intervals. Maximum rain 33ml was recorded in Sibi.
