Summary CNG stations in parts of Punjab remained closed while a few petrol stations were also closed.
A partial strike was observed by the CNG stations in Lahore and Rawalpindi to protest against a government plan to suspend gas supply for two days in a week in Punjab. However a complete shutdown of CNG stations was observed in Islamabad and Faisalabad as the petrol retailer and dealers failed to develop in consensus on the issue of observing strike across the province.Petrol Dealers Association Information Secretary, Khawaja Atif, announced that petrol stations will remain open. He said that the CNG stations are already closed and if the petrol stations are also shut down, it would create problems for the people.On the other hand, All Pakistan Petrol Retailer Association President, Khawaja Babur, said that petrol stations will also remain closed.
