Summary The Pakistan State Oil has resumed furnace oil supply to the Karachi Electric Supply Corporation.
The PSO initially provided furnace oil worth Rs 1 billion to the KESC that would be sufficient for five days.The KESC authorities said that after the provision of furnace oil, the load shedding schedule would be made accordingly.The authorities said that due to the repair work at the Bhat Shah Gas Field, the Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (SSGCL) reduced the gas supply to the KESC in a violation of the court orders.
