US assists Pakistan in many sectors: US envoy

Addressing a seminar in Islamabad on Monday, Cameron expressed regret over the killing of two citizens in Lahore by Raymond Davis, adding that it was better to forget such issues and move forward. He said that a strong Pakistan was the United States interest. He maintained that US was helping Pakistan in different sectors like education, defence and power.He also appreciated talks between Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani and his Indian Counterpart Manmohan Singh. He said that peace in Afghanistan was vital to maintain peace in Pakistan. He also hailed the role of Pakistan in war against terrorism.
