Summary Naeem ul Haq on Thursday said that accountability would be held without discrimination.

ISLAMABAD (APP) - Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Political Affairs, Naeemul Haq on Thursday said that accountability would be held across the board and without discrimination.

Talking to private news channel, he said that previous government leaders and politicians belonging to Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), had looted the national wealth ruthlessly and they had been involved in such activities for the last 20 years. Those elements who had committed sins and criminal acts would have to face crunch.

He said that at least six billion rupee had been plundered by political figures, representing PPP and PML-N, in Sindh and Punjab provinces.

Naeemul Haq said that Pakistan Tehrik e Insaf (PTI), government was committed to wipe out menace of corruption from all institutions, adding that ‘zero tolerance’ would be observed to achieve the objectives in that regard.

Quoting the statement of Prime Minister Imran Khan, he said that equilibrium in political affairs would be maintained by flushing out traditional politics or hereditary politics adopted or promoted by politicians hailing from Opposition benches.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) wanted to expel the monopoly or hegemony of a single person in politics, he maintained. All out efforts would be made to put the country on path of speedy progress and in this regard, steps have been taken to improve the living standard of the people of this country, he added.
