An accountability court in Quetta on Thursday sentenced former senior superintendent police (SSP) Faqir Hussain to 10 years imprisonment and also ordered the confiscation of his assets.The court also ordered that the convict could neither hold a public office nor contest an election for 10 years. The police arrested the convict from the courtroom and took him to the Quetta District Jail.Hussain was convicted for misusing his authority as the SSP and making illegal assets worth Rs 30 million.
