Summary Government is leading the country towards crisis with its political revenges, said PML-N leaders

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leaders on Tuesday have threatened to stage protest over political revenge activities against party leadership.

Talking to media, PML-N spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb said that Shehbaz Sharif was taken into the custody by National Accountability Bureau (NAB) despite working day and night for the development of Punjab.

She further warned of protest against the ex-Chief Minister (CM) Punjab’s detention.

Meanwhile, former Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah said that the government is leading the country towards crisis with its political revenges.

Earlier today, Opposition Leader in the National Assembly (NA) Shehbaz Sharif was presented before accountability court after his 10-day physical remand in Ashiana Housing Scheme case ended.

During the hearing, NAB prosecutor Waris Ali Janjua requested the court to extend remand of Shehbaz Sharif to probe the scandal.

NAB had arrested Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif in the Ashiana-e-Iqbal Housing Scheme scam on October 5. The former chief minister was charged with awarding illegal contracts to his favorite firm.

He was apprehended during his appearance before NAB in Saaf Pani Company scam. Sources told that three files were tabled before him. The bureau quizzed Sharif regarding a tender awarded to a private consultancy company for a survey of the Saaf Pani company.
