ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) lawmakers will stage a protest today (Thursday) outside the Parliament House against its president Shahbaz Sharif’s arrest in Ashiana Housing scandal.
According to details, PML-N leader and former National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq has summoned a joint session of MNAs and senators outside Parliament House’s gate No 1 at 3:00pm today to discuss the strategy of the protest.
On October 5, National Accountability Bureau (NAB) had arrested leader of opposition in the National Assembly and former chief minister of Punjab, Shahbaz Sharif in the Ashiana-e-Iqbal Housing Scheme scam.
The former chief minister of Punjab was charged with awarding illegal contracts to his favorite firm.
