Summary Fawad said PTI government had a clear policy that it would not make any compromise over corruption.
ISLAMABAD (APP) - Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain Wednesday said the criticism by Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on the government was aimed at influencing the investigation into fake bank accounts of his father Asif Ali Zardari being carried out on the orders of the Supreme Court.
Bilawal in fact wanted the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), which was probing alleged money laundering through the fake accounts, to support his father, he said.
He said Bilawal Bhutto should wait as more fake accounts of his father could be unearthed in next three weeks.
Fawad said the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government had a clear policy that it would not make any compromise over corruption whether it was done by Asif Ali Zardari, Nawaz Sharif or anybody else.
Both Nawaz and Zardari had same concern that their accounts should not be exposed showing as to how they became billionaires over the last 30 years, he added.
He said both the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and the PPP considered that democracy would be in danger if accounts of their leadership were probed.
