KARACHI (Dunya News) – In yet another hapless incident, a 25-year-old youth lost his life to criminal negligence of K-electric in Karachi.
As per details garnered, the deceased was travelling on bike with his friend when a naked electric wire hanging by the street came in their path. The young man was electrocuted as he tried to remove naked electric wire with bare hands. He was rushed to nearby hospital where doctors declared him dead.
The relatives of the deceased have decided not to lodge legal proceedings against K-electric.
Just few days ago, doctors had to amputate both arms of an eight-year-old boy after high-tension wires of K-electric fell on him outside his house.
