ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – An accountability court in Islamabad has on Monday resumed hearing of Al-Azizia Steel Mills and Flagship references filed by National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
Earlier, Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif was brought to accountability court from Adiala Jail under stern security arrangements.
Nawaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz and Capt (retd) Safdar have filed separate bail pleas in Al-Azizia Steel Mill and Flagship Investment references. Accountability court II Judge Arshad Malik will resume hearing on the references filed by NAB on directives of Supreme Court of Pakistan.
An accountability court had jailed Nawaz Sharif, daughter Maryam Nawaz and son-in-law Captain (r) Muhammad Safdar for 10, 7 and 1 year respectively in Avenfield reference case.
