ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – First lady of Pakistan Bushra Bibi on Saturday has said that she is more concerned than happy over Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chief Imran Khan becoming Prime Minister.
In her first message to the nation, Bushra Bibi said that Khan is devoted to eliminate poverty from the country and to enhance the status of health and education.
She further said that PTI will surely meet the expectations of the masses as they have given chance to Imran by electing him as their new premier.
After the oath-taking ceremony of Imran Khan as PM, Bushra Bibi visited the new house allotted to them by the government.
The military secretary residence, comprising five bedrooms, one drawing room and one dining room, is spread over four kanals. Reports stated that premier Imran Khan will shift to the PM House on Sunday.
Earlier on Friday, Khan was elected 22nd Prime Minister of Pakistan, nearly 22 years after he started his political struggle.

He received 176 votes as against 96 votes by his only rival Shahbaz Sharif of PML (N) at the voting held at Parliament House in Islamabad to elect Leader of the House in the National Assembly on Friday afternoon.
In a house of 372, the winning candidate was required to obtain at least 172 votes to become the Prime Minister.
On July 26, the Oxford-educated leader delivered his victory speech in Islamabad after his party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) emerged as the single largest party in the elections held on July 25, declaring himself as the new prime minister.
During his victory speech, Khan promised a welfare state system based on the British model.
