Summary Randhawa had contested elections from Layyah’s PP-282.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Though, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has garnered simple majority in Punjab Assembly but independent MPAs-elect are still standing in queue outside Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) supremo Imran Khan’s residence to pledge their allegiance to him.
In yet another of such event, independent MPA-elect Tahir Randhawa has on Saturday decided to join ranks of Imran Khan-led PTI. Randhawa had contested elections from Layyah’s PP-282.
Randhawa will formally announce his support for PTI in a scheduled meeting with Imran Khan at latter’s residence in Bani Gala.
With this joining, party’s tally in PA will soar to 158, nine more than required to form government.
