PM seeks report about burning of schools at Chilas

Summary At least 12 girls' school were set on fire in Gilgit-Baltistan.

ISLAMABAD (APP) – Interim Prime Minister Justice (retired) Nasirul Mulk on Friday strongly condemned the burning of schools at Chilas in Gilgit-Baltistan and directed for bringing the perpetrators of the incident to justice.

The prime minister also sought report of the incident from authorities concerned, a statement issued by the PM media office said.

Miscreants in Chilas and Diamer district of Gilgit-Baltistan vandalised at least 12 girls’ school and set them on fire.

They also targeted schools in Ronai and Takia targeted with explosive material.
