ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - At least two more independent Members of National Assembly (MNA) are set to join Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) as the party gears up to form government in centre and Punjab.
MNA Ali Muhammad Mehar from Ghotki and MNA Shabeer Qureshi from Muzaffargarh have fixed the matters with PTI.
After the new inclusion, the tally of independent MNAs in the party will rise to eight.
Six out of 13 independent candidates have already joined PTI. They include Sanaullah Masti Khel, Ghaffar Wattoo, Saleh Muhammad, Syed Fakhar Imam, Amjad Khosa and Asim Nazeer.
According to PTI spokesperson Fawad Chaudhry, talks are underway with two more independent MNAs regarding inclusion in the party.
On the other hand, a delegation of Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) led by Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui met PTI chairman Imran Khan in Bani Gala and held talks over government formation in centre.
