ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Workers of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) are allegedly being pressured into supporting Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) ahead of July 25 elections.

In a letter written to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), PML-N leader Mushahid Hussain spoke of rampant violation of the poll code, saying his party workers were being told to “switch support”.

Hussain said a vehicle with government number plate was seen at a campaign rally of the PTI in Faisalabad. In Rawalpindi, a truck belonging to the local administration removed PML-N banners and posters, he added, insisting that banners of other parties remained intanct.

According to the letter, intelligence personnel in Okara told PML-N supporters to campaign for PTI days before general election.
