Summary Judge Gul Zameer Solangi has sent the resignation to registrar Sindh High Court.
LARKANA (Dunya News) – A Second Additional Sessions Judge of Larkana tendered his resignation on Tuesday after being reprimanded by Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar.
The resignation sent by Judge Gul Zameer Solangi to registrar Sindh High Court (SHC) says that his self-esteem was hurt after the Chief Justice chided him in front of electronic and print media.
Solangi maintained that he can no longer work on the post and thus resigning following the scolding. The resignation has not been accepted yet.
On Saturday, the CJP visited district courts in Larkana and witnessed the proceedings in Solangi’s courtroom.
He expressed anger at the judge for continuing a pending case in slow pace and later threw his mobile phone onto the desk asking him to keep his phone in his chamber.
