ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has directed the provincial governments to provide proper security to the candidates contesting in general elections 2018 due to security concerns.
In a letter to all provincial governments, the commission has also asked the authorities to install CCTV cameras in sensitive polling stations for monitoring.
The ECP has also directed to provide security to election commission offices and polling staffers.
It is to be mentioned here that the people across the country will exercise their political right on July 25.
