Summary Lahore DCO says he is not allowing the meeting due to security reasons.

According to Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Coordination Committee member Saif Yar Khan, MQM had sought permission to hold a public meeting at Minar-e-Pakistan on April 10. However, the Lahore district coordination officer wrote a letter to the party, stating that the district government was unable to allow the meeting due to security reasons.Saif said that to hold a public meeting was a democratic right of their party and the coordination committee would decide the matter in the next meeting.
