Summary Voting was set in motion, amid tight security, for the by polls in PK-69, (Tank) on Monday.
At least 96 polling stations were set up for the 125,000 registered voters in the constituency. A public holiday was also declared in the district. The PK-69 by election was rescheduled four times due to security reasons.Though 21 candidates are contesting the election, the real contest is expected between Pakistan People’s Party’s Dawar Khan Kundi, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl’s Ghulam Qadir Bhittani, and an independent candidate, Habibullah Kundi.
