Karachi Violence: President directs CM Sindh to maintain law and order

President Asif Ali Zardari telephoned Syed Qaim Ali Shah and discussed the prevailing law and order situation in Karachi. The President asked the Sindh Chief Minister to take strict and effective measures for the law and order in the city.Meanwhile, Chief Minister Sindh telephoned Governor Sindh Dr. Ishrat-ul-Ibad Khan and MQM leader Farooq Sattar and discussed with them the law and order situation in the city. The CM ordered CCPO Karachi to present report on the killing of innocent citizens.Earlier, Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik also telephoned the CM and discussed with him the law and order situation.Rehman Malik ordered Rangers to control the situation and maintain law and order in conflict areas of Karachi.
