Summary Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry said that the provision of constitutional rights and safety of life to the people of Balochistan is need of the hour.
Talking to a gathering on the occasion of a dinner hosted by former president Balochistan Bar Association, Baz Muhammad Kakar, the CJ said that the government was responsible to provide safety of public life and property.He said that a petition against the incidents of target killing and missing persons was filed in the Supreme Court and the court decision in this regard will be made public.Speaking on this occasion, Chief Justice Balochistan High Court Qazi Faiz Eisa said that the cases of the missing persons were being dealt on priority basis. He said that 3000 cases were conducted by the Balochistan High Court during last year out of which 55 were about the missing persons.
