Former Hajj director general Rao Shakeel was handed over to the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Friday on a 14-day physical remand. The NAB presented the accused before the court and requested that a physical remand should be granted for investigations. The NAB also told the court that the accused owned assets beyond his legal source of income.The court granted a 14-day remand and directed the bureau to present the accused before the court on April 1. The NAB had arrested Shakeel on Thursday.
