Summary New spell of rains will start today in upper areas of the country. Hailing is expected in mountain areas of Punjab and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.
The western wind system has started entering in Pakistan due to which rain is expected in upper Punjab, KPK, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir on Friday and Saturday.According to meteorological department, hailing is expected in mountain areas of upper Punjab and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa while the weather will remain hot and dry in the central and southern parts of the country.Met office expects rain in wheat areas of Punjab and Kyber-Pkhtunkhwa and farmers have been suggested to cease watering of the wheat crop on Sunday.
