Summary Protesting against the release of Raymond Davis, the Punjab Bar Council is boycotting the courts.
The lawyers in Punjab are not appearing before courts on Thursday, whereas the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and the Jamaat-e-Islami announced tht they would stage a countrywide protest against the release of Davis.The Punjab government on Wednesday had deployed a police contingent in front of the US consulate in Lahore where a large number of people gathered to protest the US gumans release.
